Founded in 2001 through the partnership of Pierre-Yves Colin (son of Marc Colin) and Caroline Morey (daughter of Jean-Marc Morey), Domaine Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey embodies a profound dedication to Burgundy’s finest terroirs. Today, the estate cultivates 13 hectares across the prestigious villages of Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet, and Meursault.

With a production focused predominantly on Chardonnay (92%), complemented by Pinot Noir (5%) and Aligoté (3%), the domaine blends tradition with thoughtful expansion. While approximately 2 hectares originate from family holdings, the remaining parcels have been carefully acquired over the past fifteen years, including select fermage plots.

Committed to preserving the integrity of their vineyards, the team employs meticulous viticultural practices—working the soils or maintaining grass cover on steeper slopes—to ensure both vine health and environmental sustainability. Each harvest is guided by the pursuit of balance, capturing grapes at the perfect intersection of freshness and maturity.

In the cellar, the approach is one of precision and respect for the fruit. White grapes are pressed whole-cluster, with gentle, prolonged press cycles to extract the purest and most expressive juices. Fermentation takes place in 350-liter barrels (30% new oak), followed by an unhurried élevage of 15 to 20 months—without bâtonnage—to allow the wines to develop complexity naturally. Bottling occurs without filtration, using natural corks, and each bottle is sealed with wax to ensure optimal aging and consistency across vintages.
