Antoine Jobard

Domaine Jobard is one of the great estates in Meursault, with Antoine Jobard continuing the fine work of his father, François, since inheriting the domaine. The estate has a history spanning five family generations, dating back to 1860. The winemaking is traditional, with up to 20% new oak used, and standard barriques are employed for fermentation and aging. The wines are aged for an extended period, typically 18-24 months, longer than is customary in the region. The resulting wines are classic, mineral-driven, and complex Meursaults that are particularly renowned for their long bottle-aging potential.

Today, the domaine farms around 7 hectares of Chardonnay vines, mainly in Meursault. The estate’s high-quality Meursault wines remain at the core of the production, crafted in a traditional style and known for their remarkable aging potential. The total production of the domaine is around 2,000 cases per year.
