Joseph Colin

In 2016, Joseph decided to create his own Domaine, and, subsequently, inherited just over six hectares of vineyards from his family holdings, representing about nineteen different appellations, to start his exciting new venture.

His philosophy is one of minimal intervention, working with as little sulphur as possible and no filtering or fining. He is not certified organic or biodynamic, however avoids chemicals, working sustainably in the vineyard, and works not just to the lunar calendar but to the tidal calendar, believing, for example, that it is best to bottle at low tide when the wines are closed and the flavours are all in the wine.
