Pierre Boisson

Since 2017, the Anne Boisson and Pierre Boisson domains stem from the division of the family domaine Boisson-Vadot, based in Meursault. Today, each sibling vinifies and markets under their own label, while still sharing facilities and a common philosophy passed down from their father, Bernard Boisson, who remains active.

They both make wine from their own vineyards, and Pierre also makes wines from purchased grapes since 2019, about 300hl produced yearly from negoce.

Often compared to top Meursault producers like Coche-Dury or Roulot (for style and aging potential), their precision-driven, terroir-focused, and low-intervention approach produces minerally expressive, age-worthy wines with remarkable purity and depth. Producing very limited quantities, they are key names in the discreet but top-tier Burgundy scene.

According to Jasper Morris MW, “There is no particular recipe for their fine racy wines – just meticulous vineyard work, green fingers and common sense.”

Anne and Pierre both represent the bright new generation of Meursault winemakers!
