Domaine Nicolas Rossignol represents one of the most dynamic, quality-driven estates in the Côte de Beaune. A fifth-generation vigneron, Nicolas Rossignol established his own domain in 1997 after working harvests across Burgundy, Bordeaux, and South Africa. Today, he farms over 17 hectares of prized vineyards spread across Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, and Meursault. Guided by a deep respect for natural biodiversity, Nicolas practices biodynamic farming and minimal intervention, relying on intuitive, site-specific winemaking rather than fixed recipes.

In his state-of-the-art cellar in Beaune, Nicolas adapts his approach to the unique personality of each vintage and terroir. He makes careful, vineyard-by-vineyard decisions regarding whole-cluster inclusion, cold maceration, and gentle gravity-flow handling. Utilizing low proportions of new oak, his wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve their vibrant aromatics and textural density. The resulting Pinot Noirs offer a brilliant juxtaposition—combining the seductive, lace-like elegance of Volnay with the structured, brooding power of Pommard.
