Monthly Domaine - Meo-Camuzet

Few names in Burgundy command as much reverence as Domaine Méo-Camuzet. Founded in the early 20th century by Étienne Camuzet—a prominent politician and member of the French National Assembly—the estate built its legendary status through an irreplaceable constellation of Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels across Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges. For decades, much of the farm was sharecropped by the iconic Henri Jayer, whose masterful techniques in de-stemming, cold maceration, and fruit purity forever shaped the estate's DNA.

Since the late 1980s, Jean-Nicolas Méo has spearheaded the family estate, refining its philosophy toward organic farming, lower yields, and meticulous oak selection. Méo-Camuzet wines are celebrated globally for their signature combination of heady aromatics, lavish plushness, and profound underlying structure. These are majestic, long-lived Pinot Noirs that sit firmly at the absolute pinnacle of Burgundian winemaking.
