Domaine Pierre Damoy

Pierre Damoy has made real progress with these wines since he took over the family domaine for the 1992 vintage. He enjoys the advantage of working with eleven hectares in some of the finest vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin, with vines from twenty to eighty years old. Grapes are harvested later than most of his neighbours and at lower yields. In the best years his wines show a good deal of weight and intensity which will repay time in the cellar.
