Domaine Christian Moreau Pere et Fils
The Moreau family is not a newcomer in Chablis, having started a wine business in 1814 and sold their operation to a Canadian firm in 1980s that ultimately went into another big negociant’s hand. In 2002, with the remaining 12.5ha of prime vineyards, Christian and his son Fabien established a new domaine with modern facility. The majority of the land is of Grand Cru status and the average age of the vines are above 40 years old. The result is naturally superb and a must for serious Chablis lovers.
