Domaine Henri Boillot
After some negotiation with his family, Henri has taken over much of his father, Jean Boillot’s, domaine and renamed it after himself. The total production of this domaine comes from 15 ha of which 8 of them are reds. Amazingly, the majority holding of vineyards belong to premier cru quality. The whites spread from Savigny Les Beaune to Meursault and Puligny Montrachet. For Reds, there are wines from Beaune and Volnay to Nuits St Georges. From his village Meursaults, Pulignys and Chassagnes up to his Corton Charlemagne, Chevalier-Montrachet and le Montrachet, Boillot’s wines are intense, structured, exact and age-worthy.And don’t just look at his whites, from the Burgundy master, Allen Meadows, “This is easily the best set of reds that I have ever tasted at this address and they’re worth adding to your shopping lists.”
