Located in the village of Chavost, Champagne Laherte Frères was founded by Jean-Baptiste Lahert in 1889. Over the generations, the estate gradually expanded to cover over 11 hectares in the Champagne region. Since 2005, Aurélien Laherte, the seventh generation, has been giving a new dimension to the estate, while following in the footsteps of his father Thierry and his uncle Christian.
As a meticulous vinifier and a devoted practitioner of organic and biodynamic viticulture, Aurélien strives to produce a lineup of blended and single-vineyard Champagnes that deeply expresses the identities of his unique terroirs. The Laherte Frères Champagnes have earned a reputation as one of the most progressive and dynamic grower-producers in the region for their vibrant, energetic and racy profile.
