Susana Balbo, one of our excellent Argentine Brand’s owner/winemaker, has been nominated as one of the finalists for “Winery Executive/Innovator of the Year” in the annual Wine Enthusiast Wine Star Awards.

Susana Balbo is the first female oenologist in Argentina when she began her career in 1981, Balbo pioneered the Torrontes variety in Salta and continues to innovate in her Mendoza winemaking. She experiments with fermentation methods and vessels, as well as with regional terroir. Her consistent success and commitment to high standards lead to her election as president of the Wines of Argentina international trade organization.
